# BookingFlow manual test summary

**Period:** October 14–15, 2026. **Status:** Planned core learning sequence complete. **Environment:** Windows desktop; Chrome reported initially; exact OS/browser versions and later runs' browser identities not independently recorded.

## Execution results

| Run | Case / purpose | Release | Result |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| BF-RUN-001 | BF-TC-001 / supplied valid booking + refresh baseline | 1.0 | Pass |
| BF-RUN-002 | BF-TC-002 / customer denied staff viewing | 1.0 | Fail |
| BF-RUN-003 | BF-TC-002 / matching viewing-defect retest | 1.1 | Pass |
| BF-RUN-004 | BF-TC-009 / authorized staff viewing | 1.1 | Pass |
| BF-RUN-005 | BF-TC-003 / 8/9 capacity boundary + refresh | 1.1 | Pass |
| BF-RUN-006 | BF-TC-004 / exact overlap versus end-touch adjacency | 1.1 | Pass |
| BF-RUN-007 | BF-TC-005 / cancellation history + rebooking + refresh | 1.1 | Pass |
| BF-RUN-008 | BF-TC-006 / valid/rejected rescheduling + refresh | 1.1 | Pass |
| BF-RUN-009 | BF-TC-007 / staff block lifecycle + customer effect | 1.1 | Pass |
| BF-RUN-010 | BF-TC-008 / Sam/Alex/Morgan views + Alex refresh | 1.1 | Pass |

**Totals:** 10 completed runs; 9 Pass, 1 Fail; 9 distinct case designs; 25 screenshots supporting all runs. No remaining Not run/In progress execution rows. Eight designs contain learner-authored steps developed with review; the supplied baseline is separate. Retesting the same case adds an execution, not an independently authored design. Full observations and evidence paths: [execution CSV](../execution-log.csv).

## Defect outcome

[BF-BUG-001](BF-BUG-001.md): Alex Customer could view Staff workspace and another customer's booking on 1.0. Verified for the same viewing case on 1.1; Morgan's allowed staff view passed separately. Successful unauthorized mutations were not demonstrated. No other learner defect finding is claimed, and seeded author behavior is not counted as learner discovery.

## Requirements exercised and limits

| Requirement area | Recorded evidence | Scope limit |
| --- | --- | --- |
| BF-REQ-01/02 / sign-in and roles | Correct roles, customer denial retest, staff viewing, own-list comparison, authorized block changes | Invalid-password cases, full signed-out access checks, and every role/action combination untested |
| BF-REQ-03/04/05 / form values | Valid titles/dates/durations; Studio A accepts 8 and rejects 9 | Title lengths, closed/out-of-week dates, closing-time limits, other capacities and invalid number formats not exercised |
| BF-REQ-06/07 / creation/conflicts | Exact overlap rejected, adjacency accepted, block prevents creation, unique IDs observed | Partial overlap variants and full date/room matrix not established |
| BF-REQ-08/09 / transitions | Cancelled history/rebooking, valid/rejected rescheduling, saved-value preservation | Dialog dismissal and Cancel editing untested |
| BF-REQ-10/11 / staff blocks/lists | Authorized block save/remove; own/all views; All/Cancelled observations | Invalid block reason/conflict cases and every filter combination not covered |
| BF-REQ-12/13/14 / persistence/environment | Multiple saved-state refresh checks, account switching, displayed releases | Storage failures, browser restart, cross-device behavior, export and complete release-isolation/reset verification untested |

Listed requirements are exercised partially, not certified fully covered. Screenshots demonstrate visible state and reported action sequences, not independent inspection of local storage or server enforcement. Dates/times are fixed fictional venue fixtures.

## Recommendation

Close this scoped learning assignment. Retain the historical failure and matching pass. Further coverage is needed for a release-wide acceptance decision; this report does not approve a production application. See [closeout](CLOSEOUT.md) for evidence/provenance limits.
