# SF-BUG-003: Standard delivery is omitted when discount reduces merchandise below $50

- Project: ShopFlow — independent guided manual QA and UX practice.
- Status: Verified on release 1.1 for the original Standard / Tote-Bottle / SAVE10 fixture in SF-RUN-013. Original 1.0 failure and passing Express comparison retained; broader coverage pending.
- Case / run: SF-TC-006 / SF-RUN-011.
- Requirements: SF-REQ-07 (delivery eligibility after discount) and SF-REQ-08 (final total).
- Environment: Release 1.0 confirmed by screenshot; Chrome on Windows desktop, browser version not recorded.
- Record date: October 14, 2026.

## Steps

1. Start with an empty release 1.0 cart.
2. Add one Canvas tote ($20.00) and one Reusable bottle ($30.00).
3. Keep Standard delivery.
4. Apply SAVE10.
5. Inspect the discount, delivery, and final total.

## Expected versus actual

| Value | Expected | Actual |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Product types / units | 2 / 2 | 2 / 2 |
| Merchandise subtotal | $50.00 | $50.00 |
| SAVE10 discount | $5.00 | $5.00 |
| Net merchandise, derived | $45.00 | $45.00 from shown values |
| Standard delivery | $4.99 | $0.00 |
| Final total | **$49.99** | **$45.00** |

Standard is free only at or above $50 **after discount**. The correct net amount is below that threshold. The final total is understated by $4.99.

## Evidence and scope

- [SF-RUN-011 screenshot](../evidence/session-06/SF-RUN-011_SF-TC-006_v1.0_standard-delivery-missing-after-discount.png)
- Learner reported the fee was absent and the total was $45 instead of the delivery-inclusive amount.
- One reported execution of this fixture; no exact-repeat frequency claim.
- The one-unit prices, subtotal, and promo are correct, distinguishing this from the quantity-calculation and exact-$20 promo findings.
- No code cause or saved-order effect is claimed from this cart screenshot.

## Impact and proposed triage

The customer sees an inaccurate expected amount, and delivery cost could be omitted from an order if the same breakdown is used at submission. That checkout effect is a risk to investigate; no order was submitted here.

Proposed severity: High for a core amount discrepancy. Proposed priority: P1 under the lab's proposed correct-order-amount criteria. These are simulated judgments.

Workaround for the same Standard-delivery fixture: None tested. Choosing a different service is not assumed to be an acceptable workaround.

## Follow-up

- SF-TC-015 / SF-RUN-012 changed only delivery to Express and **passed**. The learner reported total $54.99; the [screenshot](../evidence/session-06/SF-RUN-012_SF-TC-015_v1.0_express-comparison.png) shows $50 subtotal, $5 discount, Express $9.99, and total $54.99 with the same items. This narrows the observed discrepancy to the tested Standard outcome; it does not resolve it.
- Original Standard fixture on release 1.1: SF-TC-006 / SF-RUN-013 **Pass**. The learner reported total $49.99. The [screenshot](../evidence/session-07/SF-RUN-013_SF-TC-006_v1.1_standard-delivery-after-discount-retest.png) confirms one Tote, one Bottle, $50 subtotal, $5 discount, Standard delivery $4.99, and total $49.99. See [the completed retest](STANDARD-DELIVERY-RETEST.md).
- See [the decision-table excerpt](DELIVERY-DECISION-TABLE.md) for known and planned combinations. It is not exhaustive coverage.

The original recorded fixture now matches its requirement on 1.1. No code cause, universal shipping correctness, or order-submission outcome is inferred. Checkout and exact-threshold variations remain separate work.
