# TaskFlow project closeout

**Date:** October 14, 2026. **Decision:** Complete this scoped beginner practice project and move to a new testing environment.

## Recorded work

- 11 completed execution runs, RUN-002 through RUN-012: **2 Fail, 9 Pass**.
- 2 defect observations: date loss after refresh and spaces-only title creation with success feedback.
- 2 learner-authored, reviewed, executed cases: status persistence and mixed-status filtering.
- 18 screenshot files supporting the learner's observations and later checks.
- An error-feedback placement proposal, assistant implementation, and learner verification of rejection and correction.
- Completed portfolio case study and resume Projects entry.

RUN-001 is an unused Not run starter row. It is excluded from completed-run counts. The original failures remain in the log; successful follow-up runs do not overwrite them. Counts are historical runs across versions, not a final-release pass rate.

## Why moving on makes sense

The learner demonstrated comparing expectations with observations, reporting defects, capturing evidence, testing boundaries, reviewing fixture counts, checking persistence and status transitions, and writing their own cases. Another environment can now introduce numeric calculations and interactions among business rules.

## Optional future work and limits

Keyboard-only testing, screen-reader announcements, second-browser/device coverage, further title/date boundaries, exploratory charters, complete traceability, triage role-play, and representative-user/UAT sessions remain optional future exercises. No complete accessibility, usability, production-readiness, or exhaustive coverage claim is made.

The first date failure lacks full original environment/input evidence; the later verification uses a controlled fixture. The submitted 50-character count is learner-reported. Browser version was not recorded. The final prototype checks passed within their documented scope.
