Josh CzarneckiUI/UX DESIGN, QA & VISUAL STORYTELLING

CURIOUS BY DEFAULT. LEARNING BY MAKING.

I ask why.
Then I make.

I’m Josh, an emerging UI/UX designer who has also started working with quality assurance. I’m building my practice through projects that make digital experiences clearer, more useful, and more reliable.

My work so far spans an independent audit and coded Servant concept, the Gather app concept, HuhPop’s visual storytelling, and hands-on QA practice. Across TaskFlow, ShopFlow, and BookingFlow, I’ve completed 39 manual test executions covering validation, business rules, scheduling, roles, and saved data. I document discrepancies, verify matching fixes, and connect interface feedback to the user’s next step.

I enjoy the space between noticing a problem and giving it a clearer shape—through the words, flow, interactions, or visuals. QA is teaching me to write clear test cases, check boundaries and saved data, and support findings with evidence. I’m learning to connect how an interface feels with how reliably it works.

WHAT I’VE BEEN WORKING ON

Design, stories,
and software quality.

01
AUDIT & CODED CONCEPT / SERVANT

From a fresh audit to a testable direction.

I’ve refreshed the Servant study with an October baseline, five evidence-linked findings, and an AI-assisted coded concept. It now includes service comparison, an explained starting-point guide, technical QA, and a detailed research plan. I’m practicing how to distinguish observed issues from hypotheses and turn a proposed change into something testable.

02
INTERACTIVE PROTOTYPE / GATHER

Making time together easier to organize.

Gather brings friends and family into familiar circles for plans, RSVPs, trip timelines, and photos. Building the prototype has let me work through interaction details, responsive layouts, appearance choices, and the small pieces of feedback that help an interface feel understandable.

MANUAL QA / THREE PROJECTS

Test the rules. Follow the evidence.

TaskFlow, ShopFlow, and BookingFlow document my growing QA practice: 39 manual executions, six defect observations, and 11 learner-authored test designs developed with review. I’ve practiced validation, boundary checks, checkout arithmetic, booking rules, role-specific viewing, scoped retesting, and saved-data integrity.

BRAND & MOTION / HUHPOP

Making curiosity easy to follow.

HuhPop now has a 44-episode production library, including eleven newer fact Shorts about food, animals, science, and space. The latest work combines AI-assisted artwork, sourced scripts, narration, timed captions, original sound, export checks, and documented release slots. I’m practicing how to keep the story clear, accurate, and recognizable at phone size.

DESIGN, BUILD & ITERATION / THIS PORTFOLIO

Treating my portfolio like a product.

I’m learning through the site itself: shaping a personal identity, building responsive layouts and purposeful motion, checking real feedback, and documenting changes. The new case study traces that process and brings my work together in a short skills film.
